Between 05:00-24:00 (single tariff) a taxi costs €35, while between 00:00-05:00 (double tariff) €50. You can opt for the above flat rates (€35 and €50) when travelling to the inner center ring. These rates cover all extras, such as all tolls, extra luggage, etc. It is advisable to verify with the driver about this rate when you enter the taxi. By Train (€8, for 2 persons €14 and for 3 €20):

Airport tickets can be purchased from the bus drivers of airport lines, Athens Public Transport outlets, all Metro stations of Lines 1,2&3.
There are two types of trains: Metro and Suburban (Proastiakos). The airport station for both is outside the arrivals behind the Sofitel Hotel (5' minutes walking from Schengen exit). You can reach the platform through the pedestrian bridge on the left side of the Sofitel hotel.
The hotels and the venue are accessible from the airport via the Metro Line 3 "Athens International Airport – Aigaleo". Hilton closest station is Evangelismos (5 minutes walking), while the venue is accessible from station Syntagma (less than 10' minutes walking– see map directions). If you don't want to walk, you can change from Syntagma Square to Panepistimio Station (1 stop – Metro Line 2 - Red line) and then walk only 2-3 minutes. Tip: You can check the train schedule in the arrival hall when you pick up your luggage on large monitors just before you exit.Tip2: Be aware of pick-pockets in the metro lines in the downtown area during rush hours (e.g. when going in/out of a full coach)

The bus station is just outside the arrivals Schengen area. Please take line X95: SYNTAGMA-INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT which takes you both to Hilton (there is a stop across the street when arriving) and also close to the venue (Syntagma square). From Syntagma Square to the venue is around 10 minutes walking. See map directions. Alternatively, you can take the metro from Syntagma Square to Panepistimio Station (1 stop – red line) and then walk 2-3 minutes. See map directions from Panepistimio Metro Station to the venue.
