The Steering Group appointed by the Finnish Ministry of Education has released its report on research infrastructures in Finland. The document consists of a mapping of national-level research infrastructure in the country. It combines and summarizes three evaluation surveys conducted in 2008 by three International Experts Panels in the fields of Life Sciences & Medicine and Environmental Sciences (LME), Physical Sciences, e-Science and Engineering (PSE), and Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH); and sets out key recommendations to further develop research infrastructures in Finland.
