Report on 8th e-Infrastructures Concertation meeting

The 8th e-Infrastructure Concertation Meeting, organized by the Commission Services (EC) in collaboration with the e-ScienceTalk project, took place at the Globe in CERN, Geneva on 4 and 5 November 2010. The programme for the event aimed to further the EC’s objective to develop a world's class resource as part of a strategy to achieve European leadership in e-Science.

The e-Infrastructure Concertation Meetings  are a series of events that bring together key players in the community who are working towards a long term sustainable e-Infrastructure for scientific research in Europe. The event described in the report below was targeted at the e-Infrastructure community in the new Distributed Computing Infrastructures era.
