e-IRG Workshop under Croatian EU Presidency will be a virtual conference

Due to the evolving COVID-19 situation and the recent restrictions imposed by the different governments in several countries, e-IRG has decided to cancel the e-IRG Workshop originally planned for 25-26 May 2020 in Zagreb as a physical meeting. Instead e-IRG plans to arrange a virtual conference.

RDA FAIR data Working Group launches public consultation on maturity model report

The RDA FAIR Data Maturity Model Working Group has announced its public comment period for the FAIR Data Maturity Model specification and guidelines. The report is available for comment on the EOSC Liaison Platform and closes on the 13th May 2020.

Global research community meets online to develop tools for COVID-19 analysis

Over 500 scientists, software developers and clinicians joined forces in the COVID-19 virtual Biohackathon to develop new tools for working with the COVID-19 data. The outcomes of the event improved the accessibility of data, protocols, analysis pipelines and provided dedicated compute resources to execute demanding data analysis tasks.
