European Open Science Cloud Work Plan 2020 published

The European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Executive Board has published its second version of the EOSC Work Plan. The plan is a co-ordination document that outlines key activities in this critical final phase of implementation before the "Minimal Viable EOSC" will be presented at the end of 2020.

Digital infrastructure for research into the social network of the full Dutch population

An interdisciplinary consortium based at Leiden University, the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and Statistics Netherlands (CBS), receives 1 million euro to build an open digital infrastructure for network analysis of the entire Dutch population. Global research community meets online to develop tools for COVID-19 analysis

We had the opportunity to interview Guy Lonsdale. CEO of Scapos, an SME in Germany. Scapos is involved in a number of HPC projects. Scapos is also the coordinator of the project called "Concerted action for the European HPC CoEs", also known as FocusCoE.
