Open Consultation on the future of EOSC published

The EOSC Executive Board has published an open consultation on the EOSC Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA). The consultation, which closes on 31st of August 2020, asks for the input of EOSC communities and beyond in setting out the future vision of the European Open Science Cloud.

Proposals for scaling up the European Open Science Cloud

Ten proposals were submitted under the last calls of Horizon 2020 for the implementation of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). The calls, with a deadline on 18 June 2020 and a total budget of 64,9 million euro, aimed to consolidate, scale up and increase the service offer of the EOSC Portal.

Academy of Finland announces funding for Finnish Flagships, research infrastructures and RDI partnership networks

The Academy of Finland has received a one-off increase of 81 million euro in its budget authority through the Finnish Government's fourth supplementary budget. In accordance with the supplementary budget, the Academy will target funding to support the National Roadmap for Research, Development and Innovation and its objectives relating to solutions for a sustainable and developing society.
